FINALLY. I’VE LOST MY FIRST POUND SINCE SEPTEMBER. SO HAPPY.
my cousin is on some crash diet and has lost a stone (6-7kg) in a week.
it took me three months to lose that much! I’m kinda resentful that it’s been so easy for her, and I secretly hope that she gains it all back when she stops her diet. I’m a horrible person! but crash diets are so stupid and she’s just being an impatient dick andncjznzixmmax
So i haven’t been updating my personal progress, because there’s been no progress! i’ve been at a total stand still since September.
Now! I’ve finally moved into my first flat, so now that I’m in control of my groceries i’m hoping to see the scales budge a bit.
This morning I went out for a run with my good friend Kimberley for the first time in about two weeks. I had started improving on my endurance doing 3.5km of running every other lamp post, improvement being not wanting to die by the finish point.
I found out that a run for colour charity run is coming to my city, in 4 weeks. I’m signing up for the 4km run, so I’m going to have to make progress! This morning, I totally surprised myself. Added a Km to my distance (4.5) and ran two lamp posts at a time for the middle part of the run. AND didn’t want to die at the end! PROGRESS. Big thank you to my good friend Kimberley for her ruthless encouragement! I’m absolutely thrilled with my efforts this morning, and i’m exhaused so i’m gonna go take a nap!
I’ve been in a unemployment induced funk for about three weeks. Intermittent fasting, not a lot of exercise, low energy levels, the works.
But today was my last day of freedom before new job starts, and I kicked it’s ass.
90 mins of walking (around hagley park in glorious weather, swoon)
0.5km in the pool (30 mins)
40 mins in the gym-
10 mins cross trainer
3 x 10 crunches
5 x 10 4kg biceps curls
4 x 20 leg press!
Officially back on the wagon! I love endorphins and looking forward to work tomorrow :D
I’m wearing one of my favorite shirts, that I haven’t worn in 6 months because it was getting a bit snug last time I wore it.
Today, it’s bigger than when I bought it.
Size 18 is now in my rear view mirror and I’m well on the way to smaller clothes!
Me and my best friend have sworn an allegiance to get out more and have a healthier summer and I can’t wait.
I just weighed in at 224! That’s a total 18lb loss!
I’m very happy and surprised because it’s Monday morning after my birthday weekend and absolutely no fucks were given on Friday and Saturday, but I didn’t binge or eat anything overly fatty. New lifestyle brain is clearly here to stay!
So I’m getting a little pissed off with swimming at the moment because I have to go after work which is apparently peak swim time for every man and his dog.
I’m sick of fighting for space in the lanes and I get fucked off when people overtake me, cause it ruins my breathing/stroke pattern and it boils my piss.
So I tried to start running. I did day one c25k which I was awful at but I was quite content to keep at it.
Then I acquired a mysterious knee injury and it’s hella sore. Dad told me not to run for a month. So awesome.
Trying to change up my schedule to swim when the pools quiet.
And I’ve lost another 3.5lbs in the last two weeks bringing my total loss to 15lbs/8kg :)
I haven’t logged properly in a week and I could use some more support!
To the point where I’d rather just not eat because I don’t enjoy the taste of what I’m putting in my mouth.
